The singer-songwriter is drawn to her, and always tries out latest beats. A lot of them inspire song ideas. After five seconds, I know what a song is or not. Then I get an idea for the song and write it immediately. The words come to me when I'm on my deck, playing guitar. Most of the time, it's less than thirty minutes. Niykee says that as she grows as a lyricist and musician, her memories of her childhood serve as an inspiratoin. My experience of pain as a child up as well as the loss of my sister are still reflected in my lyrics, even though they're not literally. The memories influence my songs and creates a deeper understanding behind all things that's one the most important things that I value. It is important to me to realize that I can hear any of my songs in 20 years down the road and be proud of what I had to say.
