Angela Sun, an American journalist, television sportscaster as well as filmmaker of documentary films. Angela Sun, a journalist and sportscaster who has won accolades for her efforts at Santa Clara County California was born on the 19th of October 1979. She received a Bachelor's Degree in sociology and communication from the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing. She was a participant in numerous pro-am Surf competitions which led to sponsorship deals with brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. This was an excellent opportunity to launch her career in entertainment. Later she worked as an actress, sportscaster, investigative filmmaker, journalist and reporter. Sun was a news anchor for numerous channels. In 2003, she worked as an Fox Sports Net reporter. She hosted American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. In 2014 Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute. She was the first Asian American person to be a part of ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports as well as Tennis Channel. Sun is a well-known actor that has appeared in numerous movies. She's appeared in films such as Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014-2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's 2014 feature length document Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film about the effects of pollution caused by plastics on oceans. She created, wrote and directed it herself.
